We are a church in transition, where we are discovering who God has made us to be (past/ present), who God is calling us to be, and growing as a faith community. We are a church pursuing and discovering our ideal future.

CHURCH HISTORY

Old Paramus Reformed Church in Ridgewood, NJ is a fellowship called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be the very presence of Jesus Christ in the world. Our shared faith is one thing – following Christ in mission, in a lost and broken world so loved by God.

REVEREND ROBERT MILLER

Rob has served as Old Paramus Pastor since November 2013. He grew up in Traverse City, Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan. Prior to arriving in the Garden State, he served as the senior pastor of First Reformed in Walden, New York: associate pastor of Community of Joy Church in Traverse City, Michigan: and associate pastor of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.

Rob is a graduate of Hope College and Western Theological Seminary, both in Holland Michigan. He has done additional studies in Systems Theory, Mindfulness, Church Revitalization, and Homiletics.

He is a passionate Detroit Tigers fan, loves swimming, playing pickup basketball, working out, and cooking with his wife. As a person who did not grow up going to church, Rob is passionate about helping others discover God and grow in their own unique spiritual life. He is also an active part of the Ridgewood Interfaith Ministerial Association, and Ridgewood Rotary Club.

Rob and his wife, Danielle, have two grown children, Blythe and Seth.
