Stewart Holmes is the Organist and Director
of Music at historic Old Paramus Reformed
Church in Ridgewood, serving the congregation since 1993.
He is fascinated with the history, design and
construction of pipe organs; in addition to
serving as a consultant to the organ committees, he designed and assisted in the construction of the Old Paramus’ Nevin Pipe Organ in
2000.

In 2015 Stewart retired as a 5th grade teacher in Ridgewood. He continues to give
demonstrations of the “King of Instruments” for school groups and other volunteer organizations promoting the true magnificence of the pipe organ.
